Third date for the series of exhibition that examine the reserch of the italian artist from 90’. The exhibition is based on Matteo Basilé (Roma, 1974) e Gioacchino Pontrelli (Salerno, 1966).
Basilé shows is first work with the name “Pietra Santa”. This work was made in Carrara mine. The artist contaminate his photography with the awesomeness of the artistic italian tradition creating surreal images.
With the artistic work of Pontrelli we can see the result of manipulation of sign and images that recall iconography of tradition, recreated through intense and complex painting.
